Analita Seth is the Content Head at Lifestyle Asia India. On any given day you can find her collaborating with key stakeholders – all the while keeping a pulse on the latest trends across India. Her role at Lifestyle Asia India is a blend of creativity, leadership, and a deep understanding of the ever-evolving landscape of digital media.
Can you tell us a little bit about your background and how you got started in media/publishing?
I was born and raised in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India, and pursued by Bachelor’s Degree in Filmmaking at Symbiosis, Pune. I started my career as a video producer for a publishing house and worked on National Geographic’s Megastructures before moving to Mumbai to join Filmfare as the video lead for a project. Once the project concluded, I transitioned to the editorial team, where I began creating video content for Filmfare Digital. Over time, I expanded into writing about fashion and entertainment for both their print and digital platforms.
How has working for a media company been different from your previous roles?
The work culture is drastically different. Working with print means tight deadlines and long hours, but BurdaLuxury has taught me the importance of work-life balance to a great extent.
What three words would you use to describe being part of the Lifestyle Asia India team?
Collaborative. Balanced. Creative.
What’s a milestone that you’ve been proud of achieving?
Stepping into my current role and proving myself capable of leading content for Lifestyle Asia India has been a major moment of pride for me. To highlight a few specific achievements, I’m especially proud of the content we created for Xiaomi and Ultraviolette – both were truly a labour of love. Additionally, the cover shoot with the cast of Heeramandi was another milestone, as it was the first time I had the opportunity to creatively direct a cover shoot on my own.
Who were some of your biggest influences growing up?
My parents have always been my biggest driving force. Their unwavering confidence and faith in me continue to push me to take on new challenges. In addition to them, Rahul Gangwani (Lifestyle Asia India’s former Editor-in-Chief) has been my mentor and truest confidant for almost a decade now.
What’s something fun or unexpected you’ve learned from being a part of the BurdaLuxury team?
That you don’t live to work – you work to live. I’ve learned the importance of stepping back, recalibrating, and maintaining a balance to stay efficient and grounded.
