Airbnb and Travel + Leisure India have shared a close relationship ever since the former’s induction into the Indian market. When the hospitality brand launched its collection in Goa, it needed a trustworthy partner to help draw readers and tourists.
Solution
A celebrity cover integration with Dia Mirza was formulated and agreed upon by both brands, and the shoot location was none other than one of the fantastic Airbnb properties in Goa. The print and digital teams came up with individual strategies to broad-based the whole range, with extensive video footage being shot and edited in-house. The content in print had to go beyond the usual itinerary coverage, and instead was bursting with fresh travel ideas in Goa, something which would attract young travellers.
Travel + Leisure India & South Asia optimized Dia Mirza cover in cover story, video, social media posts as well as native articles. The campaign has gained 350,000 readership, 45,000 page views and 15,000 engagement.
