On Monday, 2 September, Prestige Hong Kong celebrated their fourth annual Women of Power with the second edition of the Women of Power summit at the Landmark Atrium, Hong Kong, in partnership with Noble Panacea, Tiffany & Co., Black Sheep, and Stella McCartney, with HER Fund serving as the charity partner for this year’s event. The Women of Power initiative began with Hong Kong in 2021 with a mission to create a vibrant and ever-growing community of successful and influential women. The summit is a reminder that every woman of power is a trailblazer and a visionary whose impact is felt beyond simple business success.
This year, Prestige Hong Kong aims to create an even greater impact by mapping out pathways and forging partnerships that will benefit the broader Hong Kong community. The 2024 Prestige Hong Kong Women of Power summit is engaging with an emerging demographic of young women who seek to create a difference, not only for themselves, but also for other women, for their home, and for their city.
The panel for Prestige Hong Kong’s fourth Women of Power summit was divided into a morning session and an afternoon session and consisted of 24 moderators and speakers, including Oceana Ou, Managing Director & Publisher, BurdaLuxury Hong Kong; Maya Lin, Deputy Managing Director, Cartier Hong Kong; and Audrey Bois Nicolaï, Head of Brand at Noble Panacea, amongst many others.

This was followed by Kristie Lu Stout, Anchor & Correspondent, CNN, who taught the audience how to harness confidence and assertiveness to make sure their voices are heard. The morning session concluded with a talk on how to protect your family legacy, led by Sherlynn Chan, Partner, Deacons and chair of the Mental Health Law Committee of the Law Society of Hong Kong, and the importance of trusting your gut instincts, which was led by Dr. Siew Ng, Professor of Medicine, CUHK and co-founder, G-NiiB GenieBiome Ltd.
Following a short break, Megan Lam, Co-founder Neuram Health and Executive Director, KELY Support Group, and Queenie Man, Founder & CEO, The Project Futurus, led the attendees into the afternoon with a conversation on how purpose can drive success. This session was moderated by Fiona Nott, CEO, The Women’s Foundation. The afternoon then transitioned into a topic that is at the forefront of today’s culture: Next Gen Philanthropy. This panel was led by Amanda Cheung, Managing Director, First Initiative Foundation; Victoria Tang-Owen, President, The Hong Kong Down Syndrome Association and Creative Director; and moderator Crisel Consunji, singer, actor, and founder, Baumhaus.
The panels in the afternoon concluded with panels on normalising conversations around women’s health and learning how women investors can thrive in an uncertain world. These panels were led by Prof Ava Kwong, Founder and chairman of the Hong Kong Hereditary Breast Cancer Family Registry; Dr. Laurena Law, General Practitioner trained in Aesthetic Medicine and Menopause Care; and Gigi Chao, Vice-chair of Cheuk Nang (Holdings) Ltd and LGBTQ activist.
The summit concluded with a champagne reception courtesy of Stella McCartney that included conversations surrounding the narrative of women in Hong Kong Cinema, a singer-songwriter’s journey to self-discovery, and a special performance from Serrini and Band.
Every year, Prestige Hong Kong sets out to create a bigger mark in Hong Kong’s society with Women of Power, and the success from this year’s event promises to continue the celebration of women and their achievements and contributions towards Hong Kong’s society.
