Prestige Malaysia hosted its annual Prestige KL Ball on the evening of Sunday, 10 November 2024, at The Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur in partnership with Etihad Airways, Bakhache Fine Jewellery, and Pernod Ricard Malaysia. The Prestige KL Ball is one of Prestige Malaysia’s esteemed high society celebration, bringing together the brand’s closest friends.
Under the theme Fantasia, guests arrived this year to welcome gifts from Maison Francis Kurkdjian Paris and Bakhache Fine Jewellery. Upon guests settling into the ballroom at The Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur, Björn Rettig, CEO, BurdaLuxury delivered his opening speech, which was followed by welcome speeches from Natasha Kraal, Publisher, BurdaLuxury Malaysia, and Tengku Zai, Editor at Prestige Malaysia. Guests later received an exclusive in-person introduction to BurdaLuxury Malaysia’s newest Managing Director and Publisher, Lena Kwek, who took on the role with immediate effect on 1 November, 2024.
This was followed by a delicious five-course meal provided by Prestige KL Ball’s 2024 venue partner, The Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur, that led into an awards ceremony that encompassed two main categories: Best Dressed and Achievement.
The award for Best Dressed Woman, sponsored by Judith Lieber, was presented to Melissa Mae Lyn; Best Dressed Man, Nazreem Musa‘s award was sponsored by The Melium Group; the Best Dressed Couple award, sponsored by Heavens Portfolio – Ultima Collection, was awarded to Dato’ Sri Bernard Chandran and Darin Sri May Lourdes.
The Woman of Power Achievement award, sponsored by Aura Regenerative Clinic, was awarded to Ng Wei Wei; The 40 Under 40 Achievement award, sponsored by Forestis, was awarded to Ram Rengasamy Pillai; and the Prestige Achievement Award, sponsored by Bakhache Fine Jewellery, was awarded to Dato’ Sri Dr. Farah Khan.
The remainder of the evening involved guests enjoying delicious food and beverages, performances from singer Nini Palikat and Dream Forest Langkawi by Enfiniti Production.
